Matthew Walker brings more than a decade of experience in financial services, with a background in corporate finance, business development, insurance, and leadership. A 2011 graduate of the University of Hartford’s Barney School of Business and former NCAA Division I baseball player, Matt’s career reflects his commitment to discipline, integrity, and helping others succeed.
Before entering financial services, Matt began his career in corporate finance at Pfizer and later built and led successful financial services organizations. He has recruited and mentored more than 100 professionals and helped grow an organization to over $12 million in annualized insurance premium production.

As a Retirement Consultant, Matt takes a comprehensive approach to retirement planning, considering income needs, assets, risk management, tax considerations, and legacy goals. He believes effective planning goes beyond individual products and focuses on developing strategies tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

Matt prioritizes education, transparency, and lasting relationships built on trust. His goal is to help clients understand their options and feel confident in the decisions they make about their financial futures.

Faith, family, and service are central to Matt’s life and guide his commitment to integrity, stewardship, and treating others with care and respect. He and his wife, Brittany, live in the Tampa Bay area with their four children, Addie, Jax, Beau, and Isla. Outside of work, Matt enjoys family time, strength training, traveling, and baseball.
